The snack will be available in mid-August.

UK – Pladis, the UK-based confectionery and snack manufacturer, through its owned pretzel Flipz brand, has introduced its new Apple Cider Donut flavor for autumn LTO (Limited Time Offering), which will arrive on shelves in mid-August this year.
This seasonal flavor combines Flipz’s signature crunchy, salted pretzels with a sweet and tangy apple cider coating, infused with warming spices that evoke the memorable taste of classic fall desserts.
The 6.5-oz bags will be available at retailers such as Family Dollar, Albertsons, Kroger, and Ahold.
The newly released flavor becomes part of Flipz’s seasonal selection, which has previously featured popular offerings like Strawberry Cheesecake, Snickerdoodle, Peppermint, Blueberry Donut, Fair Churros, and State Fair Strawberry Shortcake.
The trend of incorporating seasonal flavors into traditional snacks creates opportunities for brands to captivate customers with limited-time offerings.
By blending the comforting essence of apple cider donuts with the salty crunch of pretzels, Flipz delivers a unique flavor fusion that stands out in a crowded snack aisle.
Industry analysts note that such limited-time releases not only drive excitement but also boost foot traffic and sales during peak seasonal windows.
The convenient format of Flipz pretzels makes them ideal for on-the-go indulgence, lunchbox treats, or cozy movie-night pairings.
With its Apple Cider Donut flavor, Flipz is flipping the script on fall snacking, offering a sweet, spiced escape that’s crunchy, cozy, and unmistakably autumnal.
This launch follows Pladis’ Flipz brand introducing its limited-time offering, the State Fair Fried Chocolatey Sandwich Cookie, as part of its Summer LTO (Limited Time Offering).
These snacks feature Flipz’s crunchy, salted pretzels coated with flavours reminiscent of golden fried dough, chocolatey cookies, and sweet cream filling.
The 2.5-ounce bags are available at Dollar Tree, while larger 6.5-ounce varieties can be found at various retailers, including Walgreens, Publix, and Albertsons.
Last month, Pladis strategically allocated US$91.1 million (£68 million) for its iconic Stockport site, home to the chocolate production for McVitie’s Digestives.
Pladis’ substantial UK investment in automation and infrastructure aims to expand manufacturing capacity, improve operational efficiency, and minimise environmental emissions.
