Beginning this August, the Halloween Shape Cookies will return to the shelves.

USA – General Mills, an American multinational manufacturer and marketer of branded ultra-processed consumer foods, through its iconic brand, Pillsbury, is reintroducing its iconic Halloween Shape Cookies, featuring three familiar favorites along with a brand-new seasonal addition.
Beginning this August, the classic Pumpkin, Ghost, and rarely seen Spooky Cat cookies will make a triumphant return to the refrigerated sections of leading United States retailers, sparking excitement among eager fans.
The Spooky Cat, last seen nearly a decade ago, returns to popular demand after winning Pillsbury’s fan voting contest in 2024.
Additionally, Pillsbury is launching a brand-new cookie shape inspired by Día de los Muertos: the Sugar Skull. This vibrant design pays homage to the traditional calavera and adds a cultural flair to the seasonal lineup.
The cookies come pre-cut and ready to bake, making them a hit for families, parties, and anyone craving a quick festive treat.
Each package contains 24 cookies and will retail for approximately two for US$7, though prices may vary by location.
Pillsbury’s Halloween cookies belong to its “Safe-To-Eat-Raw” range, allowing fans to enjoy the dough straight from the pack without any health concerns.
Social media, particularly viral TikTok recipes, played a significant role in reviving Pillsbury’s Halloween cookies, prompting the brand to adopt user-generated content and encourage fan participation online.
Pillsbury’s early cookie release capitalizes on the rising “Summerween” trend, allowing fans to purchase their Halloween treats ahead of the October rush and avoid missing out due to high demand.
By combining beloved classics with a new cultural design, Pillsbury’s Halloween cookies strike a festive balance of tradition and creativity, poised to be a standout treat for Halloween 2025.
In May this year, General Mills, Inc. introduced a new line of refrigerated cookie dough under its Pillsbury baking brand called Big Cookies.
Recently, General Mills collaborated with National Football League star Justin Jefferson to launch the Jettas Mix breakfast cereal varieties.
