Omas completes major sifter upgrade for EB Bradshaw & Sons LTD flour milling company in the UK

UK – Omas, a leading Italian manufacturer of advanced milling technology, has successfully completed the installation of six new Galileo sifters at EB Bradshaw & Sons LTD, a prominent flour milling company in the UK.

The project, which was finished in just 5 days, involved replacing old sifters that had been in operation for over 40 years.

This installation not only marks a significant achievement for Omas but also reflects the growing demand for cutting-edge milling solutions that ensure efficiency, food safety, and sustainability.

Omas was tasked with meeting several stringent requirements set by EB Bradshaw, which included minimizing mill downtime, improving flour quality, and enhancing food safety standards. The new Galileo sifters were specifically chosen to meet these challenges.

Known for their high-performance capabilities, the Galileo sifters have been designed to optimize product quality, streamline operations, and comply with strict food safety regulations.

One of the major benefits of Omas’ Galileo sifters is their contribution to maintaining consistent, top-tier flour quality.

According to milling technology giant, by replacing the outdated sifters, Omas introduced more efficient and reliable technology to EB Bradshaw’s milling process, ensuring the company continues to meet the high standards that have become synonymous with its brand.

The sifters are also fully insulated, preventing humidity condensation and reducing the risk of mold formation, which is crucial for maintaining the freshness and safety of the flour.

Another standout feature of the Galileo sifters is their design, which eliminates the use of wooden elements in contact with food. This change addresses a significant food safety concern, as wooden components can pose contamination risks.

By ensuring that all materials in contact with food meet the highest hygiene standards, Omas is helping clients like EB Bradshaw achieve better traceability and regulatory compliance by meeting the MOCA (Materials and Objects in Contact with Food) certification standards.

Furthermore, the company’s ability to deliver on time, meet high-performance criteria, and address critical food safety concerns solidifies its reputation for quality and innovation.
