NIGERIA – Crown Flour Mill (CFM) Limited, a subsidiary of Olam Agri in Nigeria, has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Crown Thick Spaghetti, responding directly to consumer preferences for thick strand pasta.
The unveiling took place at a high-energy event in Abuja on April 16, 2025, drawing in key distributors and reinforcing CFM’s commitment to food innovation and security in Nigeria.
As part of the larger Olam Group, which supplies food, ingredients, and fibre to over 22,000 customers across 60 countries, Crown Flour Mill continues to leverage global expertise and local insight to shape a more sustainable and food-secure future for Nigeria.
This new product offering builds on Olam Agri’s investment in local wheat farming and food fortification through initiatives like Seeds for the Future, which aim to strengthen domestic production and ensure affordable, nutritious food.
In 2023, Olam Agri traded 39.6 million metric tonnes across its global agribusiness network, reinforcing its capacity to meet local demand while integrating Nigeria into global food flows.
Speaking at the launch, Siddharth Suri, Vice President and Business Head at Crown Flour Mill, emphasized the strategic significance of the product:
“This is more than just a product launch. We are unveiling new possibilities. This launch represents our commitment to progress, to better serve our communities, and to equip our partners with tools that can help grow their business and satisfy the ever-evolving needs of our customers.”
