SINGAPORE- Dutch animal nutrition firm Nutreco, the parent company of aquaculture feed giant Skretting, has announced the appointment of Noel Kim as the Managing Director for Nutreco Asia.
This strategic move is set to reinforce Nutreco’s presence and drive growth in the dynamic Asian market.
Noel Kim, an industry veteran with extensive experience, is scheduled to assume his new role in January 2024. Prior to joining Nutreco, Kim served as the leader of the Animal Nutrition Asia Pacific business line at Evonik.
With a robust background in the sector, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge gained during his 15-year tenure at Cargill, where he held key roles both in the United States and Asia.
Noel also boasts a degree in Biochemistry from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
In his new capacity, Kim will play a pivotal role in steering Nutreco’s operations in Asia. His responsibilities will encompass overseeing the animal nutrition business of Trouw Nutrition, as well as managing the aquaculture business of Skretting, a major player in aquafeed production.
This strategic appointment is poised to strengthen Nutreco’s position in the Asian market, capitalizing on Kim’s expertise to navigate the challenges and opportunities in the region. The move reflects Nutreco’s commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in animal nutrition and aquaculture.
