MIWE America unveils new headquarters

The company’s relocation from Hillsborough, New Jersey, is a key part of its long-term strategic plan to provide retail, wholesale, in-store, and other bakers with highly responsive, expert technical services, fast parts deliveries, and timely equipment installations throughout the US.

USA – Bakery equipment manufacturer MIWE America LLC, a subsidiary of the German bakery equipment manufacturer MIWE Michael Wenz GmbH, has officially unveiled its new headquarters in Middlesex, New Jersey, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth trajectory.

Spanning 15,000 square feet, the state-of-the-art facility combines office space, a live baking center, a dedicated technical center, and an expansive warehouse stocked with essential components for rapid service delivery.

This move coincides with MIWE’s 25-year celebration in the US market, underscoring its evolution from a European baking technology pioneer to a cornerstone of American artisan and industrial baking innovation.

The new headquarters represents more than just physical expansion; it embodies MIWE’s commitment to enhancing customer support amid rising demand for high-performance deck ovens, rack ovens, and proofing systems.

The live baking center, a standout feature, will enable bakeries nationwide to test recipes and equipment under real-world conditions, fostering stronger partnerships with craft bakers, large-scale producers, and foodservice operations.

Located strategically in Middlesex, the facility enhances MIWE’s East Coast presence, streamlining logistics for its North American clientele while aligning with industry trends toward sustainability and efficiency.

Features like energy-optimized designs in the technical center reflect MIWE’s German engineering heritage, known for precision and reliability, and its products range from crusty artisan breads to delicate pastries.

As US baking rebounds post-pandemic with a focus on premium, locally sourced goods, this investment positions MIWE to capture market share in a sector projected to grow steadily through 2026.

The MIWE America technical center hosts year-round, hands-on training and educational programs on the company’s equipment line for its extensive network of professional service technicians and installers.

Operator training is also open to bakers and other customers in the bakery industry.

The warehouse ensures quick parts access, minimizing downtime, and providing a critical edge for 24/7 operations.

Looking ahead, MIWE plans to leverage the site for R&D, potentially introducing hybrid oven technologies at events like Euroshop 2026.

This expansion not only cements MIWE America’s leadership but also signals optimism for the baking sector’s future, promising better baking and business outcomes for partners across the continent.
