Mars appoints Myriah Gambrell-Glenn general counsel for global snacking division

Gambrell-Glenn has over 15 years of experience at Mars, having held senior legal roles across multiple business segments.

USAMars Incorporated, a global leader in confectionery and snacking, has appointed company veteran Myriah Gambrell-Glenn as General Counsel for its global snacking business, effective December 1, 2025, a strategic leadership move as the company expands its footprint in the competitive consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.

Based in Chicago, Gambrell-Glenn will oversee legal strategy, compliance, and risk management across Mars Snacking, which includes iconic billion-dollar brands such as M&M’S, SNICKERS, Nature’s Bakery, and Kind.

She will report directly to Andrew Clarke, Global President of Mars Snacking, “with a dotted line” to Stefanie Straub, Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Mars Inc.

Gambrell-Glenn has over 15 years of experience at Mars, having held senior legal roles across multiple business segments.

Most recently, she served as General Counsel for Mars Pet Nutrition, where she played a pivotal role in integrating multibillion-dollar acquisitions, including Champion Petfoods and Pretty Litter.

Her appointment comes at a transformative moment for Mars, which is finalizing its US$35.9 billion acquisition of Kellanova, the maker of Pringles and Cheez-It.

Once completed, the deal is expected to double the size of Mars’ snacking business over the next decade.

“Myriah’s pedigree speaks for itself,” said Andrew Clarke, Mars Snacking Global President.

“She has built an outstanding track record at Mars, combining deep legal expertise with strategic insight. This combination is invaluable as we navigate today’s complex legal and regulatory environment while expanding our global snacking footprint”.

Gambrell-Glenn will serve on both the Mars Snacking Leadership Team and the Mars Legal Leadership Team, positioning her at the heart of the company’s governance and innovation efforts.

She described her new role as a “generational moment” for the snacking division, emphasizing the legal team’s role in enabling growth and fostering innovation at scale.

Her promotion underscores Mars’ commitment to strong legal leadership as it scales its global snacking business.

With more than 34,000 associates and a presence in over 150 countries, Mars Snacking remains a significant force in the global food industry.
