The leadership change comes after recent factory expansion, a major acquisition, and continued investment in the company’s operations.

USA – Legacy Bakehouse has appointed Tim Jax as its new Chief Executive Officer as the baked snacks manufacturer continues to expand its business across North America.
The company announced the appointment on July 22, saying Jax will lead the next stage of growth following increased production capacity at its Waukesha facility, the opening of a second bakery in Cudahy, Wisconsin, and the acquisition of Classic Cookie in 2025. These developments have strengthened Legacy’s position as a producer of premium baked snacks, cookies, and tortillas for leading consumer brands.
Jax joins Legacy after serving for two and a half years as Chief Executive Officer of Crofter’s Organic, one of North America’s largest producers of organic jams, jellies, and spreads. During his time at the company, he increased sales across branded, private label, and industrial business segments before the business was sold in December 2025.
Brian Behm, Legacy Board Member and Managing Director at Benford Capital Partners, welcomed the appointment and said the company had reached an important stage in its growth.
“Tim is joining Legacy at a critical point in our journey. His proven leadership skills are essential for our next stage of growth,” said Behm. “His experience scaling and driving results with innovative food companies will prove invaluable for our evolving platform.”
Jax brings nearly 20 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. He has held leadership, marketing, and product development roles at Pretzels, Inc., TreeHouse Foods, and Conagra Brands. He also previously served on Legacy’s Board of Directors, giving him a strong understanding of the business.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Legacy at such an exciting time for the business,” said Jax. “The Company has real momentum, and its diverse set of flexible baking and snack capabilities is a true differentiator in the market. I look forward to partnering with the talented Legacy team to find new ways to deliver value for our customers.”
Legacy confirmed that Alain Vallet Sandre will remain President and continue working closely with Jax on company strategy and commercial activities. The company also strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Lauren Davis as Chief Financial Officer in late 2025 to support continued business expansion.
The leadership changes come as Legacy continues to increase production capacity and widen its product offering following recent investments and acquisitions, placing the company in a stronger position to serve both existing and new customers across the food industry.
