Indomie Türkiye achieves major growth with 1.2 billion units produced annually

Approximately 70% of the raw materials, including wheat for noodle production, are sourced locally.

TÜRKIYE – Indomie Türkiye has announced a major production milestone, reaching an annual capacity of over 1.2 billion noodle units, solidifying its position as a market leader in Turkey’s instant noodle segment.

This achievement reflects the brand’s commitment to sustainable practices, local sourcing, and technological innovation.

Operating from its state-of-the-art facility in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ, Indomie Türkiye has built a fully automated production line where no human hands touch the product, ensuring the highest hygiene standards.

With a monthly output of 330 tons, the company’s production model is designed to meet growing consumer demand while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

A cornerstone of Indomie Türkiye’s success is its “farm-to-table” philosophy, which emphasises collaboration with local farmers in the Thrace region.

Approximately 70% of the raw materials, including wheat for noodle production, are sourced locally. This approach not only enhances product quality but also supports regional agriculture, provides employment opportunities, and contributes to the local economy, fostering a sense of community and shared prosperity.

Factory Manager Onur Özkan highlighted the importance of sustainability in their operations: “We transform the hard work of Thrace’s farmers into high-quality products in our automated facilities. Our production volume is a clear indicator of how deeply we’re integrated into Turkish consumption habits and the trust consumers place in our brand.”

Beyond production, Indomie Türkiye is also recognised for its social responsibility, particularly in promoting women’s employment. Over 60% of its workforce is comprised of females, reflecting the company’s commitment to equal opportunity and inclusive growth.

Environmental stewardship is another pillar of Indomie Türkiye’s strategy. The company has implemented initiatives focused on water and energy efficiency, recycling, and resource preservation, aiming to protect tomorrow’s resources while improving today’s operations.

Indomie Türkiye’s success has also earned it a spot among the top five Indomie factories worldwide, out of more than 50 global facilities. This ranking underscores the brand’s excellence in local adaptation, quality control, and consumer trust.

As demand for convenient and flavorful meals continues to rise, Indomie Türkiye’s scalable and sustainable production model positions it for continued growth. With its deep roots in local agriculture, cutting-edge technology, and strong community ties, the company is not just producing noodles; it’s shaping the future of food manufacturing in Turkey.
