To build excitement, Cheez-It posted a preview on Instagram featuring the product’s branded packaging and its expected 2026 launch.
Gluten-free products have seen a surge in availability in recent years, driven by growing consumer demand for snacks that align with specific dietary requirements.
Beyond those with gluten-related conditions, many health-conscious individuals are embracing gluten-free baked goods as part of a broader wellness movement, often citing benefits like reduced sensitivities and support for weight control.
“We’ve been hearing from fans who have had to transition to a gluten-free diet, as well as fans who have never been able to snack on Cheez-It for many years,” a Cheez-It representative shared in an email.
“We’ve been hard at work to make sure we had the best recipe and process to bring the same iconic, cheesy, crunchy, salty, delicious flavor Cheez-It fans crave to those who have missed us.”
According to Kellanova, the latest recipe has been rigorously tested and approved by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO), ensuring it’s safe for individuals with celiac disease.
Additionally, as the specifics are still being finalized, a Cheez-It spokesperson encouraged fans to stay tuned to the brand’s social media for updates on when the product will be available.
