Since launching its grains business in Cameroon a decade ago, Olam Agri has grown into a major contributor to the country’s agri-food value chain
Under this model, three private entities will manage large tracts of land: Selu Limited (20,000 acres), Nyumbani Foundation (50,000 acres), and Al Dahra of the United Arab Emirates (180,000 acres)
This change was made in an attempt to create a structure that more accurately represents the company’s long-term growth goals for the new era.
The initiative is part of broader national strategies aiming to produce 874,337 tonnes of maize by 2029
This growth is in line with Edita’s declared plan to diversify into highly promising product categories and meet the growing demand in the food service industry.
