Antonina’s launches individually wrapped gluten-free treats for on-the-go snacking

USA – Antonina’s Gluten-Free Bakery has unveiled a new line of individually wrapped muffins and brownies, offering a convenient, certified gluten-free option for consumers seeking safe, delicious treats without compromise.

The launch marks a strategic expansion into the grab-and-go market, catering to both gluten-sensitive shoppers and mainstream snackers.

The new products are available in popular flavors, including Cinnamon Chip, Triple Chocolate, Lemon Poppy Seed, and Chocolate Chip muffins, as well as Double Chocolate brownies, which are baked in a dedicated gluten-free facility and certified by the Gluten-Free Certification Organisation (GFCO).

They’re also Kosher (KOF-K), nut- and peanut-free, and made without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

Each muffin and brownie is sealed in individual packaging, reducing the risk of cross-contact and extending shelf life.

Muffins have a frozen shelf life of 270 days and remain fresh for approximately 10 days once thawed, while brownies last up to 21 days after thawing.

This format allows retailers to stock them confidently alongside conventional baked goods, simplifying merchandising and eliminating the need for back-of-house prep.

According to Robert Kidd, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Antonina’s, the company’s proprietary gluten-free flour blend ensures that the taste and texture appeal to both gluten-free and gluten-eating consumers.

“This versatility lets retailers stock one muffin or brownie for all customers, protecting margins while serving a wide range of shoppers,” said Kidd.

The launch responds to insights from Beyond Celiac’s Harris Poll report, which found that nearly half of Americans with celiac disease often eat before events or bring their own food to avoid cross-contact.

Antonina’s new offerings aim to capture missed impulse purchases at coffee bars, checkout counters, and other high-traffic areas.

Already sold in over 5,000 stores nationwide, Antonina’s products are available through major distributors like US Foods and Lipari Foods, or directly from the company.

The individually wrapped format not only enhances safety and freshness but also positions Antonina’s as a low-lift, high-impact solution for retailers looking to expand their gluten-free offerings.

With this launch, Antonina’s continues to redefine gluten-free snacking, making it easier, safer, and tastier for everyone to enjoy.
