TURKIYE – Alapala, a leader in food processing technology with seven decades of experience, has recently celebrated the production of its 3,000th SIMILAGO II Roller Mill.
This milestone underscores Alapala’s global presence, with operations in over 120 countries across five continents and a robust portfolio of more than 1,000 references.
The SIMILAGO II Roller Mill, renowned for its innovative design and superior performance, has earned global accolades, including the RedDot, Good Design, and Grapas awards.
This machine ensures smooth grain processing in flour, semolina, maize mills, and other food production plants.
The SIMILAGO II represents one of Alapala’s most ambitious projects, combining advanced technology with the company’s 70 years of expertise.
The mill features a chassis made of thick special carbon steel, which provides exceptional resistance to machine vibrations and ensures smooth and consistent operation.
Its aerodynamic roll mechanism profile allows perfect air circulation, preventing overheating and ensuring efficient operation with minimal downtime.
One of the standout features of the SIMILAGO II is its specially designed transmission drive mechanism, which includes a profiled belt that guarantees clean and silent operation without the need for lubrication.
The EZ Roll Pack Change System further enhances efficiency, allowing roll changes to be performed in just 20 minutes using standard tools and no lifting devices.
The SIMILAGO II also boasts user-friendly controls with a 7-inch LCD touch-panel screen for setting operational parameters, monitoring feed roll speed, hopper product levels, motor amperage load, and power consumption.
The pneumatically actuated slide gate mechanism ensures uniform feed flow to the rolls, while the polycarbonate inspection glass allows operators to inspect the machine status easily and can be removed for cleaning without dismantling other parts.
