USA – WK Kellogg Co has expanded its better-for-you (BFY) cereal offerings to K-12 schools nationwide, introducing two new cereals designed to meet students’ nutritional needs while delivering the great taste families know and love.
The new cereals, Kashi® Strawberry Banana Loops™ and Kellogg’s® Frosted Mini-Wheats® Cocoa, come in single-serve packaging tailored for the school environment and comply with USDA Smart Snacks and school breakfast nutrition standards.
Kashi Strawberry Banana Loops represents a significant milestone as Kashi enters the K-12 school market for the first time.
The cereal provides 15 grams of whole grains per serving, is a good source of fiber, and is vegan and Non-GMO Project Verified.
Made with real fruit purée and coloured with vegetable juice, it delivers both nutritional benefits and appealing flavours suited to young consumers.
Kellogg’s Frosted Mini-Wheats Cocoa offers a rich chocolate flavour, combined with whole grains, and is an excellent source of fibre and seven essential vitamins and minerals, including iron and folate, nutrients many children lack.
