From complete feed mills to individual machines like hammer mills, mixers, and pellet mills, the company’s technologies are designed to optimize every step of the production process.

NETHERLANDS – Van Aarsen International, a prominent provider of feed processing equipment, has announced the launch of its completely redesigned Steam Mixer.
This innovation aims to optimize steam conditioning processes, which are critical for effective pelleting in the animal feed industry.
With over 75 years of experience since its founding in 1949 and a legacy of innovation, collaborates closely with clients to develop custom solutions that seamlessly integrate into their operations.
From complete feed mills to individual machines like hammer mills, mixers, and pellet mills, the company’s technologies are designed to optimize every step of the production process.
By incorporating dry steam injection, the new design mixer facilitates rapid starch gelatinization, thereby reducing mechanical friction, conserving energy, and yielding durable, high-quality pellets.
The updated Steam Mixer incorporates several advanced features to meet contemporary production demands. It offers high capacity options, supporting pellet mill operations up to 70 tons per hour in either single or double configurations.
This versatility allows operators to tailor the equipment precisely to their specific throughput requirements, enhancing overall operational flexibility.
A key attribute of the design is its modularity, enabling straightforward upgrades from a standard model to a Hot Start version as needed. This future-proof approach ensures that investments remain adaptable without incurring substantial additional expenses, accommodating evolving production strategies over time.
The mixer’s robust construction emphasizes durability and ease of maintenance. Intelligent engineering choices minimize wear and downtime, with features such as a shaft that can be replaced from either side.
These elements contribute to faster, safer, and more cost-effective servicing, supporting uninterrupted production schedules.
Furthermore, the equipment prioritizes consistent output quality through precise temperature monitoring. A sensor integrated directly within the mixer chamber measures the actual meal temperature, ensuring accurate steam addition.
This results in uniform feed quality, improved hygiene standards, enhanced digestibility, and ultimately, better animal health outcomes.
