The new Galaxy Croissants are designed to bring together the rich, creamy taste of Galaxy chocolate with the convenience of ready-to-eat pastries.

UK – United Food Brands (UFB), a dynamic UK food distributor specializing in innovative licensed products, has launched Galaxy Croissants, significantly broadening its confectionery-inspired bakery range.
This addition complements UFB’s successful MilkyWay and Mars Croissant lines, capitalizing on Galaxy’s status as one of Britain’s most beloved chocolate brands to drive category expansion.
The move targets surging consumer demand for indulgent yet accessible bakery treats, aligning with premium snacking trends amid economic pressures in early 2026.
The new Galaxy Croissants come in a convenient 4-pack format (192g, 4 x 48g), optimized for retail performance with a recommended retail price of £2.50 (US$3.37) and promotional pricing at £2.00 (US$2.69) to boost trial and loyalty.
Already secured in Morrisons, with rollouts planned across major multiples and convenience chains through early 2026, the product emphasizes sharing, on-the-go consumption, and affordable luxury.
UFB’s strategy leverages Galaxy’s substantial brand equity to encourage impulse buys, positioning the croissants as a premium yet everyday option that enhances shopper baskets and retailer margins.
Richard Reeves, CEO of United Food Brands, highlighted the launch’s potential: “Galaxy Croissants mark a pivotal moment in the evolution of our licensed bakery portfolio, unlocking new growth in a category craving indulgent innovations.”
This follows UFB’s rapid successes, including Mars and Milky Way croissants reaching 4,000 distribution points across retailers such as Asda, Iceland, and Farmfoods.
The company, known for agile partnerships with icons like Oreo and viral hits like Spud Bros, continues to blend household names with bakery creativity to capture market share.
In the competitive UK bakery sector, projected to grow steadily through 2026, UFB’s expansion underscores a shift toward licensed, chocolate-infused pastries that fuse familiarity with novelty.
Brand Manager TJ Sims noted the product’s design for maximum shelf impact: “Our Galaxy Croissants give consumers a new way to enjoy a well-loved brand, while providing retailers with a product designed to drive incremental sales and category growth. From pack size to pricing and promotions, we’ve optimized this launch to deliver real impact across both multiples and convenience channels.”
The introduction of Galaxy Croissants highlights the evolving dynamics of the UK bakery industry, where brand partnerships, premiumization, and convenience are shaping the future of product development.
United Food Brands’ latest move positions it at the forefront of this trend, reinforcing its role as a key innovator in licensed bakery products.
