The new production line has doubled the annual production capacity since 2022.

This acquisition supports SWT’s strategic focus on growth, diversification, and investment in value-added food production close to prairie grain supplies.

The facility has an estimated annual animal feed production capacity of 240,000 tonnes, which is expected to increase by 20,000 tonnes in a later phase.

The new facility features baking, packing, and warehousing capabilities, enabling innovation and development across an array of products, from granolas to nut and seed snacks.

While the pasta unit has been profitable and has benefited from recent capital investment, Cerealto indicated that the business would be better positioned under a dedicated pasta operator.
