Rousselot to showcase peptide innovations at FI Europe

These peptides play key roles in glucose regulation and appetite control, aligning with the rising consumer interest in products that support metabolic health.

USA -Rousselot, a leading brand of collagen and gelatin products under Darling Ingredients, is set to make a notable return to Fi Europe 2025, the premier food ingredients event taking place in Paris from December 2-4, 2025.

The company will showcase a new collection of on-trend collagen and gelatin concepts designed to meet evolving consumer demands for health and wellness, convenience, and indulgence.

A highlight of Rousselot’s presentation will be Nextida GC, its latest collagen peptide innovation that has been clinically demonstrated to support metabolic wellness by naturally stimulating the secretion of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP).

These peptides play key roles in glucose regulation and appetite control, aligning with the rising consumer interest in products that support metabolic health.

At the event, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a variety of tasting prototypes featuring Nextida GC, including innovative “Cosmopolitan” and “Vegas” mocktails, hazelnut macchiatos, and appetizer crackers.

Other on-stand prototypes include Peptan-powered drinks, functional gummies made with SiMoGel technology, and a new low-sugar, high-fiber snack bar fortified with collagen protein.

Each offering is designed to combine proven functional benefits with appealing sensory qualities, reflecting Rousselot’s commitment to delivering both health and indulgence.

Rousselot will also present scientific research on the heat stability of Peptan collagen peptides, demonstrating their suitability for applications in bakery products and ultra-high-temperature (UHT) processed beverages.

This insight addresses formulators’ challenges in maintaining collagen efficacy through processing.

Additionally, experts from Rousselot will host an educational session titled “The GLP-1 Effect: Shaping the Next Wave of Nutritional Innovation” at the Exhibitor Showcase Theatre on December 3, 2025.

The presentation will explore opportunities for GLP-1 companion products targeting metabolic wellness, including nutritional support, glucose regulation, gut comfort, and muscle preservation.

It aims to offer practical formulation insights and explore shifting consumer mindsets around health and wellness trends.

Beyond Nextida GC, Rousselot will highlight its broader collagen portfolio, including Peptan, known for supporting skin and hair beauty, joint care, sports recovery, and sleep quality.

The company’s proprietary gelatin solutions will also be on display, supporting innovation in functional gummies, softgels, and hard capsules.

Rousselot’s return to Fi Europe 2025 showcases its commitment to innovation and leadership in collagen and gelatin ingredients, providing plenty of inspiration and practical solutions for food, beverage, and nutritional product developers.
