Premier Foods, Fairfields Farm introduce new products in their lineup

Premier Foods is launching its Cadbury Caramel Celebration Cake while Fairfields Farm is launching Chorizo & Red Wine flavoured crisps.

UK – Premier Foods has announced that it is launching a new addition to its cake lineup: the Cadbury Caramel Celebration Cake.

This cake features a moist chocolate-flavoured sponge layered with smooth caramel-flavored crème and caramel sauce. It is hand-decorated with indulgent milk chocolate curls, caramel pieces, and chocolate chunks.

This launch responds to the growing trend for caramel-flavored cakes and aims to help retailers meet rising consumer demand.

It also capitalizes on the success of previous products, such as the Crunchie and Flake Celebration Cakes.

“The introduction of our latest Cadbury Cakes innovation will delight shoppers and drive retailers’ sales by offering a truly differentiated choice under the Cadbury Caramel sub-brand,” said Naomi Shooman, global marketing director of Sweet Treats at Premier Foods.

In addition to the new cake, the Cadbury Caramel Mini Rolls are being reintroduced. Originally a seasonal item, this treat now features an updated recipe to enhance the caramel flavor and will be available year-round.

The Cadbury Caramel Celebration Cake will be available in select Morrisons stores starting in March, with wider availability expected in June. Meanwhile, Cadbury Caramel Mini Rolls are available in stores nationwide.

Cadbury, a British multinational confectionery company, has been owned by Mondelez International since 2010. It is the second-largest confectionery brand in the world after Mars. Premier Foods produces cakes under the Cadbury brand name, using the brand under license.

Fairfields Farm set to launch limited-edition Chorizo & Red Wine-flavoured crisps

Meanwhile, Fairfields Farm is set to launch a limited-edition crisp flavor: Chorizo & Red Wine. This new flavor, designed to meet consumer demand for bold, rich tastes, will hit the shelves in May 2025.

It features a smoky chorizo profile complemented by hints of garlic and fruity red wine undertones. The crisps will be vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and made with natural ingredients, including a prominent paprika flavor.

“Consumers are always seeking new and exciting flavor experiences, and this one delivers. As soon as we tried it, we knew we were onto a winner. We’re proud of our product development team who created this perfect flavor, as well as everyone who has worked tirelessly to bring it to life,” co-founders Robert and Laura Strathern said.

The limited-edition Chorizo & Red Wine crisps will be available in 150g sharing packs through wholesalers, selected retailers, Amazon, and the brand’s website.
