Pipcorn rebrands as Pip’s Heirloom Snacks

This evolution signals stronger clean-label positioning in a competitive snack market, where consumers prioritize non-GMO, low-fat options with premium oils.

USA – Pipcorn, the popular better-for-you snack brand, has rebranded to Pip’s Heirloom Snacks to reflect its expanded portfolio beyond mini popcorn into a full range of heirloom corn-based products.

The refresh includes eye-catching new packaging and a shift to avocado oil in 90% of items, responding to strong consumer demand for premium, clean-label ingredients.

Founded in 2012, Pipcorn gained fame through a Shark Tank investment and Oprah’s endorsement, quickly becoming a staple in healthier snacking.

Since 2019, the lineup has grown to include cheese balls, crunchies, corn dippers, twists, and fries in various flavors, all made with non-GMO heirloom corn for superior taste and crunch, with fewer calories and less fat than traditional snacks.

The rebrand under UpSnack Brands, formed in Fall 2024 after acquiring Pipcorn and Spudsy, emphasizes heirloom seeds from family farms and preserves authentic flavors passed down through generations.

Marketing Director Sonia Ortiz stated the update clarifies the brand’s commitment to high-quality, real ingredients without compromising craveability.

“This rebrand is about more than just a new name and look; it’s about clarifying who we are and what we stand for.  Being an heirloom-based brand demands that we deliver the best tasting, highest quality snacks made with only real, non-GMO ingredients,” remarked Sonia Ortiz, Marketing Director of Pip’s Heirloom Snacks.

“As part of that, given the explosive growth in demand for products made with avocado oil, we’ll be converting to avocado oil on over 90% of our items as we roll out the new name and packaging.”

Avocado oil integration enhances nutrition profiles, aligning with trends in health-conscious indulgence and sustainable sourcing.

Products maintain their signature light crunch and bold flavors, now positioned to dominate shelves with a modern look that highlights heirloom heritage.

Pip’s Heirloom Snacks is available in over 20,000 stores nationwide, including Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, Thrive Market, and Amazon.

This evolution signals stronger clean-label positioning in a competitive snack market, where consumers prioritize non-GMO, low-fat options with premium oils.

The brand aims to set new standards for heirloom-driven innovation, appealing to families seeking better everyday treats.

The rebrand positions Pip’s Heirloom Snacks for accelerated growth, blending nostalgia with forward-thinking snacking solutions.
