The PR 6003 ensures consistent measurement accuracy even under challenging external conditions such as wind, seismic activity, and vibration
GERMANY – Minebea Intec, one of the leading industrial measuring technology companies for high-precision measurements and product inspections has unveiled the PR 6003 mounting kit, a robust solution engineered to streamline and fortify silo weighing operations across industrial sectors.
Designed to accommodate loads ranging from 500 kg to 75 tonnes, the PR 6003 ensures consistent measurement accuracy even under challenging external conditions such as wind, seismic activity, and vibration. Its construction options include both mild and stainless steel, catering to diverse environmental requirements.
A standout feature of the PR 6003 is its exceptional resistance to horizontal and uplift forces, rated at up to 82 kN and 120 kN respectively.
This resilience is crucial for maintaining structural integrity and measurement precision in dynamic industrial environments. To further assist in silo structure planning, Minebea Intec offers an optional wind and earthquake calculation tool, enabling engineers to design systems that can withstand environmental stresses.
According to the company, the kit includes a dummy function that permits mounting without the load cell, simplifying the installation process.
Additionally, an optional jack-up tool allows for lifting the silo without the need for external equipment. Weighing under 20 kg, the compact unit is designed for single-person installation, reducing labor requirements and downtime.
Building upon the success of its predecessor, the PR 6001, the PR 6003 offers enhanced functionality and reduced installation effort. It is compatible with Minebea Intec’s Inteco® load cells, which are known for their high precision and durability.
The Inteco® load cells, available in both analogue and digital versions, feature high-quality stainless steel construction and are suitable for a wide range of applications, including silo and container weighing.
Headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, the company has been recognized for its commitment to innovation, performance, and reliability for over 150 years. Its diverse portfolio includes high-precision platform scales, load cells, hopper and silo scales, checkweighers, metal detectors, X-ray and visual inspection systems, as well as intuitive software solutions.
