USA – Golden Waffles, a leading name in fresh-baked waffle solutions, has officially opened its new headquarters and innovation center in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, marking a major milestone in the company’s growth strategy.
The nearly 18,000-square-foot facility, located at 1 Braxton Way, is designed to supercharge research and development while deepening the brand’s footprint in the U.S. foodservice sector.
The timing also aligned with the National Waffle Day on August 24, celebrating both tradition and transformation.
Founded in 1937 and formerly known as Golden Malted, the company rebranded to Golden Waffles in 2023 following its acquisition by Arbor Investments, a private equity firm that has backed its expansion.

The new headquarters features a state-of-the-art innovation center, complete with a demonstration kitchen, a dedicated R&D lab for waffle irons and mixes, and a training academy for culinary teams and kitchen operators.
Enhanced AV capabilities enable virtual product cuttings with chefs and customers, while collaborative workspaces and expanded meeting areas promote creativity and facilitate real-time concept development.
“This new HQ is more than just a building; it’s a catalyst,” said Michael DiBeneditto, CEO of Golden Waffles.
“Golden Waffles is growing fast, waffles are booming across every menu category, and we’re investing right here in greater Philadelphia to fuel that momentum”.
Golden Waffles currently supplies over 100,000 waffle irons to more than 50,000 customer locations across 60+ countries, offering a turnkey program that includes U.S.-made irons, premium mixes, syrups, toppings, and in-house customer service.
The new facility is expected to enhance operational efficiency and support the company’s mission to deliver consistent, high-quality waffle experiences worldwide.
According to Golden Waffles, Waffles are becoming a more prominent feature across diverse dining occasions and formats, from quick-service restaurants and juice bars to late-night eateries and grab-and-go outlets.
The new facility positions Golden Waffles to capitalize on this nationwide waffle renaissance across quick-service restaurants, juice bars, late-night venues, and grab-and-go markets.
With the opening of this flagship facility, Golden Waffles is positioning itself to lead the next chapter in breakfast innovation, responding to the growing demand for versatile, high-margin waffle offerings across restaurants, hotels, and convenience stores.
