Flour Mills of Nigeria unveils relaunch of Honeywell brand amid inflation concerns

NIGERIA – Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc has reassured consumers that the prices of Honeywell products will remain stable without compromising on quality despite the persistent inflationary pressures in Nigeria.

This assurance was delivered during the official relaunch of the Honeywell brand in Lagos on December 14.

The event showcased Honeywell’s refreshed identity, which features vibrant new packaging and an enhanced commitment to quality and affordability.

Speaking at the occasion, Devlin Hainsworth, Managing Director of Food at Flour Mills of Nigeria, highlighted the company’s dedication to meeting the needs of Nigerian consumers during challenging economic times.

We are here to present all our products, such as noodles, wheat, pasta, and more. We are mindful of the inflation in the country, and that is why we have introduced different sizes of our products to ensure affordability for all Nigerians. The quality of our products remains high despite the varying sizes,” Hainsworth stated.

In addition, Hainsworth noted that Honeywell’s dynamic new identity reflects not only vibrant packaging but also improved product quality and a renewed commitment to exceeding consumer expectations.

This relaunch represents a strategic transformation for the Honeywell brand.

Ilyas Kazeem, Marketing Director at Flour Mills, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the cultural and nutritional significance of the updated products.

The new packaging is a visual celebration of Nigeria’s vibrant culture and the brand’s enduring legacy. With enhanced nutritional value and taste, the updated products promise to enrich the lives of families across the country,” Kazeem noted.

He described the relaunch as a broader movement aimed at reconnecting with consumers.

Through innovative marketing campaigns, in-store promotions, and digital outreach, we’re inviting Nigerians to rediscover the Honeywell brand they love,” he said.

The relaunch also marks an expansion in the brand’s consumer engagement strategies.

Ayokunle Iyiola, Category Manager at Flour Mills, underscored the company’s commitment to ensuring that every Nigerian feels connected to the Honeywell story.

“With a decades-long heritage, Honeywell has been synonymous with quality and trust. Its portfolio includes noodles, pasta (macaroni and spaghetti), and staple bulk foods such as semolina and wheat,” Iyiola explained.

As part of the relaunch, consumers can look forward to exciting opportunities, including online contests, giveaways, and on-ground activations aimed at fostering stronger engagement with the brand.
