Creations Foods merges with Get Real Foods

This move accelerates innovation in the US snacking market, where better-for-you segments are growing 10% annually amid demand for low-sugar, high-protein options.

USA – Creations Foods USA Inc., a manufacturer of better-for-you snacks, has merged with Get Real Foods LLC (dba REAL Cookies), creating a vertically integrated consumer packaged goods platform focused on healthier indulgence.

The strategic combination unites Creations’ scalable production capabilities, including brands like HighKey Snacks, Moon Cheese, and Aw Yeah! Snacks, with REAL Cookies’ award-winning lines of clean-ingredient treats, such as REAL Cookies and REAL Cookie Poppers, made with almond and coconut flours, real fruit, and no artificial additives.

This move accelerates innovation in the US snacking market, where better-for-you segments are growing 10% annually amid demand for low-sugar, high-protein options.

Creations Foods Chairman and CEO Aki Georgacacos described the synergy: “Pairing our manufacturing platform with REAL Cookies’ consumer-loved brands unlocks growth through integrated sourcing, R&D, and distribution.”

REAL Cookies, founded in 2021 by Lauren Berger and Marla Felton, has garnered multiple Good Housekeeping Awards for its transparent recipes, which promise “100% delicious, 0% junk,” appealing to keto, gluten-free, and family shoppers.

Post-merger, Berger assumes the VP of Strategy and Innovation, driving new products, while Gregg Felton joins the board with CPG scaling expertise; Felton continues advising on brand vision.

Real Cookies manufactures cookies formulated without gluten, grains, dairy, eggs, corn or soy.

The enlarged portfolio spans protein-packed cookies, crunchy cheese snacks, and bold-flavour treats, positioning the entity against giants in a consolidating space.

Creations, which acquired HighKey in 2024 and Moon Cheese in 2023, gains REAL’s direct-to-consumer momentum and retail presence, enhancing go-to-market efficiency from Ferndale facilities.

A rebrand is planned to unify the philosophy of indulgent taste without compromise, targeting expansions in grocery, convenience, and e-commerce channels.

This merger reflects broader CPG trends toward platform-building for agility amid inflation and health regulations.

Analysts forecast doubled growth potential, leveraging economies of scale to cut costs 15-20% while fueling pipelines for low-carb innovations.

As consumers shun ultra-processed foods, the combined firm eyes national dominance in clean snacks, blending bootstrapped authenticity with industrial muscle.
