Butter & Bread opens new outlet in Dubai
The new store resulted from close collaboration between Butter & Bread’s in-house design team and City Centre Deira’s operations staff.
UAE – Butter & Bread has opened a new outlet at City Centre Deira in Dubai, marking the brand’s latest expansion into one of the city’s busiest shopping destinations.
The new store brings the bakery-café’s signature range of freshly baked breads, pastries, sandwiches, and specialty beverages to a diverse mall audience that includes local shoppers, tourists, and office workers from the surrounding commercial districts.
The launch is positioned as both a convenience play and a brand-building exercise, designed to increase daily footfall and introduce Butter & Bread’s menu to customers who may not have encountered the brand at its other locations.
This strategic move follows the brand’s successful presence in locations such as Al Ghurair Centre, Burjuman Mall, Reef Mall in Deira, and branches in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, signalling aggressive growth amid Dubai’s thriving food and retail sector.
The project was delivered through close collaboration between Butter & Bread’s in-house design team and City Centre Deira’s mall operations group, ensuring a seamless integration into the mall’s vibrant layout.
The fit-out emphasizes an open, welcoming counter area, visible baking displays, and seating designed for quick meals as well as longer stays, reflecting a strategy to serve both grab-and-go customers and those seeking a relaxed café experience.
Operationally, the new outlet will feature a condensed version of Butter & Bread’s full menu, tailored for the mall environment, with an emphasis on high-turnover items such as breakfast sandwiches, croissants, and speciality coffees.
Customers can now enjoy an array of specialties such as fluffy Pineapple Bread with its golden crackly crust, Plain Soft Milk Bread, indulgent Lava Cheese Toast, mochi flavors like Mango and Oreo, chiffon sponges, tiramisu, and butter cookies, many reflecting the bakery’s fusion of Asian baking techniques with classic European pastries.
To celebrate the launch, the outlet offered a Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotion from February 3rd to 6th, drawing crowds eager for fresh-out-of-the-oven treats during peak mall hours from 10:00 AM to midnight on weekends.
Butter & Bread, known for its Asian bakery magic and custom cakes, has built a loyal following in the UAE, with outlets emphasizing quality ingredients and innovative flavors like mango coconut pomelo drinks and garlic cream cheese breads.
This Deira expansion aligns with the UAE’s booming F&B market, where consumer demand for premium baked goods continues to rise, supported by tourism recovery and mall traffic post-2025.
