INDIA/NEPAL – India’s Bikaji Foods International (BFIL) has strategically entered a snacks joint venture with Nepal’s leading multinational conglomerate, Chaudhary Group (CG), to strengthen its market presence in Nepal.
This partnership marks a powerful union of two market leaders, aiming to bring premium-quality snacks, bhujia, namkeen, papad, and packaged sweets to the Nepalese market.
According to Bikaji, this joint venture marks a significant milestone in its international growth strategy, strengthening its brand presence in the Nepalese food market.
BFIL and CG Foods will equally own the joint venture, with both companies investing in a new facility in Nepal.

According to the Investment Board Nepal, Nepal’s FMCG sector is currently witnessing robust double-digit growth of around 20% annually.

The joint venture between Bikaji Foods and Chaudhary Group is set to transform Nepal’s snack industry through advanced manufacturing capabilities and a deep-rooted commitment to quality and cultural relevance.
By establishing new facilities, the partnership will drive job creation, empower local entrepreneurs, and reinforce supply chains.
