Barchart and AgVision forge strategic partnership to empower agribusiness operations

USA- Barchart, a trusted commodity data and technology leader, and AgVision, a pioneer in agribusiness software solutions, have joined forces in a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing relationships between agribusinesses and growers.

Barchart is trusted by over 600 agribusinesses representing over 2,000 grain facilities, and AgVision is a leader in agribusiness software for grain, feed, fertilizer, inventory, and retail accounting.

Through this collaboration, AgVision will integrate its cutting-edge grain accounting software solutions into Barchart’s elevator-branded Marketplace mobile apps and online grower portals. This integration will enable secure real-time access to crucial producer data, such as scale tickets and contracts, delivered directly to growers’ mobile devices.

By providing growers with this vital information, the partnership aims to bolster their decision-making capabilities, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and profitability.

Beyond empowering growers with streamlined data access, Marketplace apps and online grower portals serve to streamline agribusiness workflows by seamlessly connecting with cmdtyView, Barchart’s leading merchandiser desktop solution.

This integration facilitates market analysis and intelligence, offer and hedge management, communication tools, and grower data, all in one comprehensive platform.

Mark Haraburda, CEO of Barchart, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We’re excited to partner with AgVision to help our mutual agribusiness customers connect more effectively with their growers through streamlined access to personalized grain accounting data. This partnership helps pave the way for producers and merchandisers to move grain faster, establish stronger relationships, and grow their businesses with a more effective workflow.

Tyler Bottoms, Operations Director at AgVision, echoed Haraburda’s sentiments, highlighting the benefits of the collaboration for mutual clients.

Barchart has been a proven leader in the industry for over a decade. This partnership will provide new tools for our mutual clients to streamline their grain buying operations, all while providing producers visibility to their accounting-related data within the Barchart set of tools.”

The Barchart and AgVision partnership marks a significant step forward in leveraging technology to drive efficiency and enhance collaboration within the agribusiness ecosystem. As agribusinesses navigate an increasingly complex landscape, initiatives like this are poised to empower stakeholders with the tools and insights needed to thrive in the modern agricultural industry.
