Growth strategy focus
First, transforming core inputs like flour, oats, oils, and corn into advanced systems such as non-GMO infant-grade maltodextrin, native starches, liquid glucose, speciality flours, liquid egg, and edible oils to reduce reliance on imports and support cleaner formulations.
The second pillar advances integrated manufacturing, including a US$130 million non-GMO corn milling facility in KEZAD with 1,000 tons per day capacity, paired with the new plant to deliver end-to-end solutions and cost efficiencies that meet global standards.
PURL, the new brand, embodies purity, reliability, and functionality, offering starches, sweeteners, specialty flours, edible oils, oats, liquid egg, and meat coatings tailored for GCC food producers seeking clean-label options.
The US$20 million meat-coating facility boasts breadcrumb, extrusion, and blending lines capable of processing 60,000 tons annually, delivering halal-certified solutions for nuggets, fillets, and snacks with up to 50% faster lead times, integrated with Al Ghurair’s 1.5 million-ton flour production capacity.
The third pillar eyes expansion into Southeast Asia and North Africa via its non-GMO, infant-grade portfolio, including potential acquisitions to strengthen its asset base and customer reach in these markets.
These initiatives position Al Ghurair Foods as a regional leader in high-performance ingredients amid booming demand in fast-growing markets.
