The launch marks a further step in the company’s expansion into the UK’s commercial bakery and foodservice channels, with ambitions to scale across the EU and other international markets.

UK – Win-Win, the London-based food tech innovator pioneering cocoa-free chocolate alternatives, has launched bake-stable chips in milk, dark, and white variants, offering a sustainable drop-in replacement for traditional chocolate amid escalating cocoa prices and supply disruptions.
Announced through an exclusive UK distribution partnership with Keylink Ltd, the 10kg bags of Easymelt chips and bake-stable drops target professional bakers, chocolatiers, and chefs for applications in cookies, cakes, pastries, doughnuts, biscuits, coatings, ice cream, sauces, and desserts.
Crafted via a proprietary fermentation process on abundant cereals and legumes like rice, combined with RSPO-certified sustainable palm and shea butters, the chips replicate chocolate’s snap, melt, temper, shine, and complex flavor profile without cocoa, using roasting, grinding, refining, and tempering techniques.
Nut-free, dairy-free options (with milk variants containing milk powder), kosher, and halal-suitable, they require no recipe changes, extra equipment, or training, functioning as full replacements or extenders for cost stability and sustainability.
The launch responds to cocoa’s volatility: prices surged 300% in 2025 due to West African crop failures driven by climate change and disease, threatening the global chocolate industry while enabling ethical, deforestation-free production from scalable ingredients.
According to the company, the cocoa-free formulation uses up to 80% less water and generates up to 80% fewer CO2e emissions compared to conventional chocolate production.
Win-Win also utilises traditional chocolate-making techniques, such as roasting, grinding, refining, and tempering, to achieve its delicious chocolate alternative.
By eliminating cocoa, the bake-stable chips offer the industry a sustainable alternative without compromising taste or functionality, supporting the move toward more ethical and environmentally responsible practices.
Win-Win’s launch of cocoa-free bake-stable chips marks a significant step in the brand’s expansion, cementing Win-Win as a true pioneer in cocoa-free chocolate alternatives for commercial bakeries and foodservice providers across the UK, and the wider EU and global markets.
CEO Mark Golder stated: “The chocolate industry is in crisis, and needs alternative, more sustainable solutions. Our team of scientists and chocolatiers at Win-Win have developed patented breakthrough technology to deliver a cocoa-free alternative to chocolate that doesn’t compromise on appearance, taste or usage. Our bake-stable chips are a game-changer for the industry, delivering the highest level of performance that chefs and manufacturers expect, all while tackling the sustainability and ethical challenges that go hand-in-hand with cocoa production.”
This innovation empowers bakery and foodservice to future-proof formulations against supply risks, supporting premium, climate-responsible treats as consumer demand for ethical indulgences grows 15% annually.
