The company’s latest initiatives reflect a growing focus on diversifying its product portfolio, enhancing processing capacity, and serving a wider range of institutional and retail customers across India.

INDIA – Vikram Roller Flour Mills Limited (Vikram Mills), a legacy agro-products manufacturer based in New Delhi, has initiated a major operational expansion across its bakery, food processing, rice supply, and hospitality business channels.
The strategic move is aimed at accelerating market penetration in the company’s existing northern strongholds while simultaneously deploying a robust distribution network to capture emerging regional markets.
This multi-sector push comes at a critical juncture when commercial kitchens, hotel chains, and organized food service providers are heavily prioritizing supply chain transparency, food safety, and ingredient uniformity.
As organized retail networks expand across the domestic market, large-scale institutional buyers are moving away from fragmented commodity sourcing. Instead, they are locking in long-term procurement partnerships with institutional millers that can guarantee consistent flour and grain processing specifications.
To solidify its status as a multi-category agro-powerhouse, Vikram Mills recently integrated its traditional “flour muscle” with upgraded basmati rice operations.
Following the successful commissioning of a 100-tons-per-day paddy-to-rice mill in Kiloi, Rohtak, the enterprise deployed a twin 100-ton “rice-to-rice” processing facility directly at its Delhi headquarters.
This localized production hub allows the group to act as a consolidated, one-stop ingredient supplier, providing institutional partners with simultaneous bulk delivery of specialized wheat flours and premium rice.
The company’s expanded portfolio, which includes Wheat Flour (Atta), White Flour (Maida), Semolina (Suji), Rawa, Broken Wheat (Dalia), and Bran, is highly tailored to demanding foodservice requirements.
By leveraging automated milling systems and rigid quality control protocols, the supplier maintains strict batch uniformity across all product categories.
This has enabled the group to maintain long-term supply agreements with prominent national hospitality and dairy brands, including Mother Dairy, Taj Hotels, The Leela, Crowne Plaza, and Haldiram’s.
Company executives noted that market demand from organized food businesses and premium hospitality brands has risen steadily over the last few years.
Moving forward, the company plans to continuously adapt its manufacturing infrastructure and logistical workflows to align with the shifting regulatory frameworks and quality expectations governing the organized food service and retail landscapes.
