The company steps up product development and system upgrades to meet global storage needs.

SPAIN – Symaga, a grain storage solutions firm, has expanded its research, development and innovation team as it works to improve silo systems and related equipment for the global market.
The company said the move supports an annual plan focused on improving its range of silo accessories, refining internal processes and bringing new products to market. Recent work has already led to updates in key components used in grain storage.
One of the latest changes includes a more compact aeration ring for hoppers. The company designed it to make assembly easier, fit better with existing systems and cut down on maintenance needs.
Symaga has also introduced a new peak platform that allows safer access to the top of the silo. The platform includes safety railings, a ladder connection and a non slip grating floor.
Beyond these product updates, the team continues to work across several areas that shape the storage sector. These include improving the strength and durability of materials while reducing steel use, as well as refining storage systems to better control temperature, airflow and moisture.
The company also focuses on adding sensors and automation tools that help operators track silo conditions in real time and make faster decisions.
Safety remains a key focus, with new designs aimed at reducing risks during installation, maintenance and daily use.
At the same time, the company is working to cut environmental impact through better use of materials and more efficient designs. It also aims to make its systems easier to install and scale across different projects and markets.
“The R&D&I department maintains a firm commitment to innovation in every detail, understanding that improving the overall performance of a silo does not depend on a single element, but on the joint optimization of all its components,” the company said.
Symaga added that this approach helps improve how each facility runs while also supporting safe grain storage under stable conditions. The company said these efforts aim to deliver clear value to customers by ensuring better performance across the full system.
