ScanRG GmbH introduces innovative scanner technology for the baking industry

ScanRG GmbH will present this technology at iba 2025 in hall 13 at stand 13.B46.

GERMANY – ScanRG GmbH has unveiled its pioneering scanner technology for inline and offline quality control of baked goods,

Based on the tried-and-true multispectral N1 scanner technology, the INLINER was created specifically for the inline quality control of baked goods.

Even at high belt speeds, the gadget computes product parameters in real time while capturing products on the conveyor belt in 3D, color, and near-infrared.

Compressed air, for instance, can be used to automatically filter out products that are outside of predetermined tolerances.

The INLINER allows for flexible integration into current production lines because it is individually tailored to the needs of the customer.

ScanRG offers yet another offline quality control feature with the BAKEMETER.

Bread, rolls, croissants, cookies, pralines, pizza, chocolate bars, and cakes may all be analyzed with this multipurpose tool. Although the BAKEMETER’s integrated N1 scanner cutting-edge technology seems sophisticated, operation is simple.

First, tolerance limits are determined by scanning quality-compliant products. If the tested products fall outside of the prescribed limits, the BAKEMETER then emits a red light.

The panel displays all of the detailed results. Additionally, the integrated analytic software allows for the evaluation and export of all data.

The robust solutions that integrate 3D scanning, RGB and NIR color measurement, and effective data processing into a single device are available for trade show attendees to observe for themselves.

ScanRG GmbH is a German company, headquartered in Aachen, that specializes in patented multispectral 3D scanner technology for inline and offline quality control of various products.

Their main goal is to enable accurate and thorough product characterization by integrating 3D, color (RGB and NIR), and data processing capabilities into a single device.

Food processing (baked products, meat, etc.), manufacturing (plastics, metal parts), and electronics are just a few of the industries that employ ScanRG’s technology for both inline and offline quality control.

Consistent product quality is ensured by ScanRG’s technology, which can identify minute variations in shape, color, water content, and other characteristics.

According to a report published by Allied Market Research, the size of the global bakery processing equipment market was estimated at US$11.4 billion in 2018 and is projected to reach US$18.7 billion by 2026, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.7% from 2019 to 2026.
