The pre-baked snacks start out at a 26″ top of belt elevation.

USA – Multi-Conveyor, an equipment manufacturer, has developed a mild steel, bolted construction Z-shaped incline belt conveyor to transport snack crackers.
Once the pre-baked goods enter the conveyor, they are funneled by stainless steel guides as they ascend the vertical incline.
The food is elevated using hygienic, food-grade Volta SuperDrive belting, which has an effective width of 12.5 inches and is made of blue polyurethane. This process raises the snacks to a height of 82 inches (nearly 7 feet) at a rate of 10 pounds per minute.
The conveyor features 3-inch tall scoop flight belting with corrugated sidewalls to help control loose products during transport. In addition, a straightforward but effective angled stainless steel chute has been added to provide additional guidance at the incline’s discharge.
For safety, the system includes bearings with set screws and covers, finger guards, shaft-out guards, and a 3/8-inch polycarbonate hinged access door with a convenient magnetic latch closure.
Multi-Conveyor is a manufacturer of custom and standard plastic chain and belt conveyor equipment based in the U.S. The company is known for crafting specialty conveyors tailored to specific functions.
Conveyors offer numerous advantages to the food industry. They are constructed from materials that meet hygiene standards and can be easily cleaned.
Typically made of stainless steel, conveyors feature smooth surfaces and minimal crevices, which promote food safety by reducing the risk of contamination and ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
These systems are designed to handle delicate products gently, providing smooth and consistent movement to minimize the risk of damage or breakage during transportation.
Additionally, conveyors automate the movement of food, reducing manual handling, lowering labor requirements, and improving operational efficiency. They can be seamlessly integrated with other processing and packaging equipment to optimize production lines.
Another important advantage of conveyors is their ability to maintain quality control. Equipped with sensors and tracking systems, they monitor food movement throughout production and distribution, allowing for the quick identification of potential issues.
According to a report released by Fortune Business Insights, key players in the baking sector are focusing on adopting technologically advanced equipment to automate their baking processes, as the market continues to grow steadily due to the strong demand for ready-to-eat bakery products.
