Wheat exports are forecast at 10 million tonnes, up 300,000 tonnes from the prior FAS forecast.
Organizers said the programme aims to reduce reliance on imported wheat, raise incomes for smallholder farmers, and broaden consumer choice.
Egypt has also been expanding its storage capacity and modernising logistics infrastructure to strengthen food security.
This was above the 655,000 tons sought in the tender.
Global wheat production was forecast to outpace consumption, leading to an increase in world wheat ending stocks.
