The ceremony, hosted on August 8, at the Super Dome,brought together Tanzania’s most prominent conglomerate in a colourful celebration.
Founded in 1975 by visionary entrepreneur Said Salim Awadh Bakhresa, the company began as a modest restaurant in Tanzania before evolving into one of Africa’s most recognized and diversified brands. Over the years, Azam has become a symbol of trust and everyday value, committed to meeting the essential needs of households with excellence and integrity.
To honour this significant milestone, Said Salim Bakhresa & Co. Ltd. has introduced a Special Golden Jubilee pack of Azam Ngano Bora Wheat Flour, a product that has nourished generations and become a trusted staple in Tanzanian homes.
The refreshed packaging reflects the company’s legacy and its enduring bond with consumers, celebrating a flour that continues to bring a “golden touch” to every meal while upholding the brand’s long-standing promise of quality, trust, and everyday affordability.
